I was happy but soon he found me and we continue together.<\/p>\n<p>We took the cycling path going through the Paju\u00f1o Park, a very nice scenery (another pine forest!) not too crowded.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"photoswipe\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/-SdYq59clPj4\/UgqIZBI0ZCI\/AAAAAAAAGjI\/Os1mmfycCNo\/s0\/IMG_3369.JPG\"  rel=\"lightbox[2012] post-\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter pe2-photo\" title=\"\" alt=\"IMG_3369.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.ggpht.com\/-SdYq59clPj4\/UgqIZBI0ZCI\/AAAAAAAAGjI\/Os1mmfycCNo\/w400-o\/IMG_3369.JPG\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"clear\">25 km later we reached Palanga, a very lively and popular beach town, were we stopped for a tasty meal based on\u00a0<em>cepelinai <\/em>(potato dumplings full of cheese and meat) and of course\u00a0<em>gira<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a class=\"photoswipe\" href=\"https:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/-JIl30m1L0-8\/UgqIrq8p2aI\/AAAAAAAAGkI\/v8oV3yhvt7o\/s0\/IMG_3383.JPG\"  rel=\"lightbox[2012] post-\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pe2-photo\" alt=\"mighty cepelinai\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/-JIl30m1L0-8\/UgqIrq8p2aI\/AAAAAAAAGkI\/v8oV3yhvt7o\/w400-o\/IMG_3383.JPG\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">mighty cepelinai<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With the digestion in progress, we could only cycle at &#8220;tourist speed&#8221; as someone said till Sventoj, 15 km norther.<\/p>\n<p>Sventoj was a crowded town, simpler than Palanga and with plenty of kiosks on the main road.<\/p>\n<p>Here the adventure begun, as we had to find a place to stay for the night! And if you zoom in the map above, you&#8217;ll see what I mean by adventure.<br \/>\nWe were looking for a mythological camping site that we never found, but instead we reached a very nice hotel just outside of town.<\/p>\n<p>Cloudio asked for the price and it was a very honest 75 per night, so we locked our bikes, picked up our bags and got ready to check-in when the owner started shouting at us <em>&#8220;75 euros, not Litas! This place is not cheap!!&#8221;.<\/em> Too bad that I was in the toilet when this happened, but Cloudio managed the situation and we left.<\/p>\n<p>We had to go back in town, but thanks to me we took a shortcut on an unpaved road.
