{"id":243,"date":"2009-10-06T23:48:01","date_gmt":"2009-10-06T21:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/daniele.itvc.net\/blog\/?p=243"},"modified":"2014-12-17T00:56:05","modified_gmt":"2014-12-16T23:56:05","slug":"dakhla-kite-surfing-vacation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danielebesana.com\/blog\/life\/dakhla-kite-surfing-vacation","title":{"rendered":"Dakhla &#8211; Kite Surfing vacation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><wpg2>4281<\/wpg2>Just back from a 1 week kite surfing vacation to Dakhla, Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a very special experience!<br \/>\nJust imagine the Sahara dunes falling into a blue lagoon&#8230; with a bunch of colored kites.<br \/>\nForget about hotels, tourists, (in)civilization.<br \/>\nPut instead a camp with tends, bungalows and just a big hut for restaurant and bar.<\/p>\n<p>This was our holiday accomodation in Dakhla, a place where people go for kite surfing of fishing \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Wind everyday, sun (but we had 3 drops of rain one morning!) and ~30degrees mitigated by the wind breeze.<\/p>\n<p>We have been freed by any decision for 1 week.<br \/>\nOnly thing to choose was the size of the kite so use, also the food was provided with no alternative option&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Our days were like this:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 7am: natural wake up<br \/>\n&#8211; 8am: breakfast with sweet bread, honey, jams, coffee or tea<br \/>\n&#8211; 9am: kite surfing<br \/>\n&#8211; 1pm: lunch + siesta<br \/>\n&#8211; 4pm: kite surfing<br \/>\n&#8211; 7pm: sunset<br \/>\n&#8211; 8pm: diner + 2 beers<br \/>\n&#8211; 9:30-10pm: sleeping like babies<\/p>\n<p><wpg2>4329<\/wpg2>Especially the first days, it was very tiring to kite surf so long!!
